15 colour prints on 255 gram Velvet Somerset Art paper each protected by a separate sheet of printed tracing paper.
1 sixteen page booklet printed
on 220 gram Rive paper.
The Book Set is encased in an embossed cloth binding.
This Artist's Book has been conceived as the presentation
of a series of works in tempora
by Mayaura, inspired by passages chosen from Sri Aurobindo's
epic poem Savitri.
The excerpts are taken from the first Canto of Book I of the work, which consists in its entirety
of 12 Books and 49 Cantos.
A supplementary booklet gives the full text of the Canto in the original English and in a French translation by Satprem.
This Artist Book has been realized with the collaboration of the Galery "Le coin des Arts"
