In this engraving by Seiko Tachibana, two forms blossom with infinite grace, like ferns unfurling their fronds in a forest. They seem to embody the slow, deep breathing of nature, each filament stretching like a root or branch seeking to touch the essence of the universe. These plant motifs recall the fractal structures that link the microcosm to the macrocosm, like an infinite echo of creation in all its forms.
In this darkness, the outlines of an invisible network or stars sketching constellations can be seen. The circles at the end of each line are like pearls of dew, suspended between sky and earth, capturing an instant of brilliance before gently falling away. This suspended ballet evokes both expansion and retraction, a quiet force in which each line recounts the quest for harmony, growth and movement. The work resonates like a meditation on life in perpetual renewal, where the visible and the invisible come together in a harmonious dialogue, frozen in the moment, but carrying eternity.
